The Gallery will be hosting a free artist floor talk on Sunday 19th May at 2:00pm to celebrate Julie Humby’s solo exhibition A Life Less Ordinary.

Join us as Julie discusses her fascinating research towards her Master of Fine Arts and the growing interest in cabinets of curiosity. The natural world, evolution, mythology and the classification of creatures have come together in a remarkably intriguing exhibition by the Christchurch based artist whose work connects and questions our human relationship with the world around us.
