Patterns Aplenty – designer mugs | July School Holidays
The Gallery is running a special school holiday programme for young budding artists this July break. Taking inspiration from the playful and bright patterns on display by Janna van Hasselt, Harley Peddie and the Ashburton Society of Arts, children are invited to decorate their very own mug using brightly coloured porcelain markers. Once you have created your patterns on the mug, you can take it home to bake in the oven for 90 minutes at 160C to set the design.
This programme runs from 7–22 July. A cost of $2 applies for the purchase of the mug and towards the materials. This programme is open to children aged 3 years and above. Adult supervision is required for children under the age of 13. Join us for a frenzy of fun in the holidays!
Programme runs daily | 7—22 July, daily 10am- 4pm
