This exhibition showcases a private collection of work from one of our country’s most powerful and complex painters, Jeffrey Harris, collected by his friend and former dealer Patricia Bosshard Browne. The collection which is now on loan to the Eastern Southland Gallery largely spans the first twelve years of the artist’s professional career (1970-1982) and includes paintings, etchings and mixed media works. The exhibition is also embellished with a selection of drawings from the artist’s private collection.
Jeffrey Harris is based in Dunedin and has exhibited nationally and internationally for over 40 years, his work is represented in all major public, private and corporate collections in the country.
