ABOUT THIS EXHIBITION
DATES & TIMES
16 November 2013- 2 February 2014
Open Daily: 10am - 4pm
Henry is a very particular sort of pig. “A place for everything and everything in its place,” he always says. The Gallery is delighted to be able to bring together the drawings of David’s most recent book Henry’s Map. The Gallery is the national custodian for David’s collection and we endeavour to celebrate this important connection through annual exhibitions of his work. This year we will introduce you to the creation and evolution of Henry and his friends. This loveable little pig will warm your heart and rekindle your love for children’s picture books.
David is an award winning, internationally recognised writer and artist whose work is loved by people of all ages. He was born and raised in Ashburton and currently resides in Port Chalmers.
