Nine members from ‘The Social’ will populate the opshop Overflow, in Mayfield for two days. Over this time they will accumulate the materials for their exhibition and will interact with local residents. Their experiences will form the identity of their show and the objects for their installation.

The artists included in the residence are Hana Aoake, Audrey Baldwin, Sandrine Castel, Motoko Kikkawa, Gaby Montejo, Lucy Matthews, Adrienne Millwood, Dave Marshall, and Matthew Ward.

Join artists at the opening of this exhibition on Saturday 25 February at 2pm.

The Ashburton Licensing Trust Collection

Recently the Gallery accepted responsibilty to store and care for a majority of artworks held by the Ashburton Licensing Trust under the conditions of a long term loan. ‘Uncovered’ brings to light a selection of works formerly seen scattered amongst the public spaces of the Ashburton Hotel.
