ABOUT THIS EXHIBITION

DATES & TIMES
25 January - 21 February 2021
Open Daily: 10am - 4pm
Our 2021 exhibition programme opens with an exhibition of new works by local painter Jennifer Harrison. Having recently completed an BVA from Otago School of Art, Harrison has been painting for over twenty years.
Weather Beaten – Experiences and Atmospheres explores the turmoil of extreme weather events and their impact on the land.
I’m a rural girl and weather plays such an important part in farming life, and in life in general. We’ve had some wild weather events in recent times and that looks set to continue.
Large-scale works capture the fundamental forces of nature through expressionistic style paintings. These loose canvas works were all created over the last year from her Colliding Colours Studio in Burnett Street.
