ASA 53RD Exhibition
This annual exhibition by the Ashburton Society of Arts, now in its 53rd year features artwork from local, national and guest artists in a variety of categories.

Taking inspiration from the much loved children’s book The Lorax by Dr. Seuss, Christchurch artist Annabel Menzies-Joyce’s solo exhibition brings together a new body of work inspired by her ongoing investigation into our natural environment and responsibility to protect it.

Ashburton Embroiderers' Guild
This popular biennial exhibition showcases a vast selection of work from members of the Ashburton Embroiderers’ Guild. Members are invited to submit pieces which demonstrate the wide variety of styles and techniques currently being applied by embroiderers.

Kerry Hines, photographs by William Williams
Young Country is a exhibition that brings together nineteenth-century photography and contemporary poetry to offer a new and often surprising view of New Zealand’s past. Combining the talents of poet, writer and researcher Kerry Hines and the photographic images of William Williams which have been reproduced by international recognised photographer Wayne Barrar.
