Want to get more creative but not sure in what way or how to start? Come along to the Ashburton Art Gallery to be
inspired!

From 1pm on Sunday 1 November, there will be practical demonstrations from members of the Hakatere Ceramics
and Pottery Group and the Ashburton Art Society.

Demonstrations include:
Basic clay sculpting techniques with members of the Hakatere Ceramics Group
The art of collage making with Lee Muckle
Basic watercolour painting techniques with Lynda Scott, who will give tips on how to create a landscape. The finished result will be a landscape card to take home.

The event is free but please register as places are limited.
Families are welcome. There will be an opportunity to give
a koha – which will go to the two groups volunteering their
time.

If you need help getting to this event, assistance may be
available. Please email coordinator@mctimebank.nz, at
least a week before the event, to arrange transport.
