This innovative video and sound installation features performances of the unique sounds people can produce using only their bodies.
Initiated in 2005 by Auckland-based artist Phil Dadson, the Bodytok project is an ongoing project recording unique sounds produced with the body only, by people of all cultures, of all ages and from all spheres of life.
The Bodytok Human Instrument Archive is a ‘sonicsfromscratch’ project by artist/musician Phil Dadson with interactive software design by James Charlton, new-media artist and Senior Lecturer in Creative Technologies at AUT University, Auckland.
