The Great Bridge Brouhaha
ABOUT THIS EXHIBITION
DATES & TIMES
23 May 2015 - 18 March 2016
Open Daily: 10am - 4pm
Inspired by the mischievous Nor’west wind and the creation of the first Ashburton Bridge, David Elliot’s The Great Bridge Brouhaha is a temporary, site-specific drawing commissioned by the Ashburton Art Gallery as a celebration of our collective history, our new beginnings and the ambitious spirit of our community. Extending vertically from the Museum to the Gallery housed on the first floor, the work also represents the ethos of all the occupants of this new cultural facility – that of exploration, storytelling and imagination.
