Over the past 19 years The Ashburton Art Gallery has built an unique collection of work reflecting its geographical location. Each piece has a strong connection to Ashburton with a story to tell about the people, time and place. This exhibition reflects the Ashburton Art Gallery’s dedication to exhibiting, collecting and interpreting the works of artists who were born, reside or produced work in Ashburton or wider Canterbury or subject is connected to the district.
