This biennial exhibition of new works by the Ashburton Embroiderers’ Guild showcases a spectacular collaborative work part of a nation wide project that sets out to depict a history of New Zealand in stitch organised by the Tapestry Trust of New Zealand. The Ashburton Guild has chosen the subject ‘From the Mountains to Sea’ from a list of 95 collated by the historians involved in this project. Alongside this collaborative work will be individual works by the 35 Guild members.
