Light, colour and the obsessive cutting of paper flowers by Tara Douglas make up an installation that immerses the viewer, encasing them in a mysterious otherworldly environment. Douglas is a recent Masters graduate her work is greatly influenced by her time in Japan. Paper folding, flower arranging, cherry blossoms and the Kawaii, cute culture phenomenon play a role in her work Midnight Blooms.
