Seriously Valuable Art
ABOUT THIS EXHIBITION
DATES & TIMES
10 August - 13 October 2024
Open Daily: 10am - 4pm
Seriously Valuable Art argues that art needn’t be expensive to be beautiful, important and life-enhancing – Artists can be generous souls; and market forces aren’t always kind to historical ones. Nothing in this exhibition cost the Collector – who has kindly lent a large number of his treasures – a huge amount of money.
Mischievously though, there is an artwork included that is worth more than anything else put together; but ignore the vulgar monetary aspect and enjoy the sophistication, charm and beauty of these works and the stories they tell. You’ll be in for a wonderful surprise.
Join us for the opening of this exhibition on Friday 09 August at 6pm. This event will coincide with the opening of Kim Ireland’s exhibition Mana Māna.
