A Little Old in the New

The process of sorting through the vast array of items the Gallery has acquired over 19 years has been one filled with discovery. Thanks to the creative energy of Ali Curwood she has given some items a new purpose in the new Gallery. She has upcycled the old visitor’s seats sanding back there timber armrests and reupholstering them in a modern fabric. They now have pride of place in the new office and are a happy reminder of the old Gallery. As well as the colourfully bespoke hooks that adorn the wall as you enter the office. Previously they were the feet off a solid steel wall not that you would ever guess! Ali’s sense of resourcefulness and innovation means that we will always be remaindered of our old home.
