ABOUT THIS EXHIBITION
DATES & TIMES
6 May - 2 July 2019
Open Daily: 10am - 4pm
Christchurch artist Julie Humby explores our fascination with cabinets of curiosity in her solo exhibition A Life Less Ordinary.
Born from research towards her Master of Media Arts, Humby is intrigued by the beauty of everyday objects in nature and the poetic potential in the ordinary. The exhibition is comprised of various objects of naturalia, artificialia, exotica and mirabilia all presented in juxtaposition to one another.
