Local painter Debbie Lambert’s solo exhibition Nature Revealed has been two years in the making and captures the remote view of the mid-Canterbury landscape and further afar. Through the expansive oil paintings on show we can trace the artist’s journey to snow-capped peaks, lush bush and winding rivers.

Lambert says: “Nature, for me, provides my soul food.  It’s a place of beauty, peace and contentment.  A place for retrospection, balance and healing.  In the quiet moments when I stop, look and listen, I receive the most precious gifts.  Birdsong, windsong, the music of water in its many forms, colours in tones and hues, dancing light, pure air, amazing vistas.”

As part of the opening formalities Debbie will share tales of her adventures and dedication to capturing her surroundings.
