Adrian Hall will be taking over the foyer wall in June with a large photographic installation which explores the small Otago coastal settlement of Aramoana, a place where the artist has lived for the last 15 years. Seismic Shift is in a continuing series called Coastal Erosion in the Southern Hemisphere, it follows untitled (the Field) at Articulate Sydney in March, 2020.
As well as being an active and dedicated artist for over six decades Hall is community engaged and has been co-founder and Trustee of the Aramoana Conservation Trust. He monitors the Conservation Area as needed, and has a permit to to retrieve injured wildlife for the Department of Conservation.
