The Creators’ Room is an organisation which aims to provide senior Visual Artist students (Year 11-13) with a platform to sell their works and be recognised for their talents.
In their second year, entries were open to submissions from all Canterbury secondary schools and a total of 2,024 artworks were received. From these entries, fifteen artists were selected as finalists to have their work exhibited in an awards exhibition. The artist chosen as the winner is awarded financial assistance to contribute to their tertiary studies.
Prints of the artworks exhibited in the Creators’ Room exhibition can be purchased, with proceeds going to the artists. For more information, visit The Creators’ Room
