ABOUT THIS EXHIBITION

about-exhibition

DATES & TIMES

25 March - 7 May

Open Daily: 10am - 4pm

In late June 2016 the Gallery accepted responsibilty to store and care for a majority of artworks held by the Ashburton Licensing Trust under the conditions of a long term loan. Uncovered brings to light a selection of works formerly seen scattered amongst the public spaces of the Ashburton Hotel.

This important community collection, which has grown through the direct purchase of art, spans a period of three decades and included works by prominent Canterbry artists such as John Badcock, Austen Deans, Henry Lowen-Smith and Kath von Tunzelmann.

There will be celebration evening for this exhibition and the others on show on the 8th of April at 6:30pm. Please note this date.
